Normally I’m not a fan of blatant designer copycats, but this Jeffrey Campbell pair has me flirting with the dark side. The Rag & Bone oxfords on the left make my heart skip a beat but are squarely outside my price range. The Jeffrey Campbell version, on the other hand, is just as pretty (because, ahem…it’s almost an exact replica), but it’s only slightly out of my price range.
“Slightly too expensive” is really just a short mental leap away from “they’re an investment as long as I wear them enough”. (Let’s not say lack of willpower. I prefer “positive thinking”. )
In any case, these wedges would pop against the sea of black clothing that is my wardrobe. Hooray for neutrals!
What should it be – the Rag & Bone pair, the knockoff or neither?
